Aisle Runners

Suggestions for a beautiful effect. For an elegant entrance at the ceremony, we suggest that the aisle runner be used exclusively for the bride. After the entrance of the bridal party, the officiant invites one or two of the ushers to deploy the aisle runner. Start at the alter and unroll back to the entranceway. This suggests that someone very special is about to arrive. Only the ring bearer and flower girl, if used, should walk on the runner before the bride. (To avoid fumbling during the ceremony, ushers practice deployment of the runner at the rehearsal).
