Seating Plan Chart

Plan your space - it's simple and fun.
Follow these instructions to get the perfect seating chart for your event.

Click each one of the buttons below. A small window with a Print button will pop up.
Click Print on each page.
You will have a grid sheet showing various tent sizes and an assortment of furnishings, all printed to scale.
With a pair of scissors, cut out the furnishings you need and place them inside the lines of your tent size.
Move things around to see what floor plan you like best.
When everything is where you want it, tape or glue all in place for future reference

When You're All Done

Save your work.
Make copies and send them to your vendors so they know what to expect when they arrive on site.
(Your vendors may also be able to spot a problem area in advance - trust their experience).
Keep some copies for set-up day too. Everyone will be on the same page.
Allow a little extra space for last minute adjustments. What looks good on paper may not quite work in reality.

The End Result

Try several layouts to see what you like best. The joy of planning is that you get to put everything just where you want it. When you'r all finished you should end up with something similar to the image on the right. Have some fun!

PROFESSIONAL HINTS:

When placing Banquet Tables end to end, leave a "pass through" gap at every second or third table.

If your guests are to spend any time seated at tables, beyond that just required to eat, provide some extra aisle space for those who wish to move in and out. Servers must have space to move quickly around and between tables too.

Bars, self serve buffets and beverage tables need pleanty of room for people to move back and forth. Locate food stations and beverage tables apart from each other to avoid over congestion.

Disk Jockeys generally require an 8' x 8' space. A live 3 piece band requires about 8' x 16'. Consult your vendor.
